Obituary for Kay Delana
Sharon “Kay” Delana, age 80, of Basehor, Kansas passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. Due to her request, there will be no service.
Kay was born on July 23, 1942, in Birch Tree, Missouri, and was one of eight children born to Marvin & Ruth (Lee) Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elbert Delana, and siblings: Shirley Bartkoski, Gerald Murphy, Donald Murphy, and sons Brian Bivens and Dennis Delana.
Survivors include her children Dale Delana (Jolene), Cynthia Kirby (Dennis), Stephanie Delana, David Delana (Misty), Brett Bivens (Janine) and Lori Holloway (Mike). Siblings: Ronald Murphy, Kenneth Murphy, Jana Nowell, and James Murphy, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
