Kathy Irene Wilson, 62, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm, and the Funeral service will be at 2 pm, both on Tuesday, Feb. 7th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Burial will follow in Lenape cemetery near Linwood, KS. Kathy was born October 14, 1960 in Kansas City, KS and was a lifelong area resident. Kathy was a housewife, most of her adult life and loved taking care of her family and all of her “bonus” kids. She played the harmonica and loved music. She was also a master at thrift store shopping. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Billy J. Stean in 2009 and Opal Stean in 1990, her husband Jerome D. Wilson in 1998 and two daughters Tonya in 2016 and Kathleen in 2015. Kathy is survived by five children Tamara, Kyle, Kayla, Opal and Jay. Two half-siblings Sharron and Philip and two siblings Marsha and Mark. 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
