Kathy Sue Bobo, 67 of Edwardsville, KS passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am, and the Funeral services will be at 11 am both on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow at the Leavenworth Veteran's Administration National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses. Kathy was born April 18, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV and has lived in the Lansing and Edwardsville areas since 1992. She was a certified Nursing Assistant having worked at several area Nursing Homes over the years. Kathy was most proud to have worked at Durham School Bus Company assisting with special needs children. She was preceded in death by her parents Ira D. & Bessa A. Bowman Brawley and siblings Irene Blake, Walter Brawley, Edith Brawley, Nancy Fleming, Thomas Brawley, Donna Welch, Dianne Rockhold, John David Brawley and Terry Marcum. Kathy is survived by her husband of 48 years Jim Bobo of the home. Two sons Kevin Bobo and his wife Cheryl of Olathe, KS and Gary Bobo and his wife Jessica of Bonner Springs, KS. One brother Daniel Brawley and a sister Patty Franklin and her husband Robert, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
