Katherine Charlotte Griley, age 75, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Graveside Committal Service will be 12:30pm, Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
Katherine was born on November 7, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. She came from a very musical family and she was a loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend – she loved her family. Katherine also loved her dogs and cat, to go to for a drive, to go to the Casino, to play jokes on people and to laugh. She had worked as a Hospital Aide in Topeka. Later in life she was the caregiver to her aunt and uncle Mable (Griley) Skripsy & Willard “Bill” Griley, who raised her when she was young. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Louis Griley & Charlotte Harriet (Stroble) Griley, five brothers: John Arthur Griley, George Nicholas Griley, Thomas Augustine Griley, Frank Louis Griley and Charles Francis Griley. Survivors include two brothers: Walter Willard “Willie” Griley of Nevada and Joseph Fredrick Griley of California. Cousins: Jim Strobel of Murray, UT, Rita Shepard of Shawnee, KS., Mary Baehr and husband John of Overland Park, KS., Kenneth Marks of Overland Park, KS
