Justin Daniel Short, 43, of Linwood, KS formerly of Clinton, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at his family residence. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 1 to 2 pm, and funeral will be at 2 pm, Sat., April 20, at the St. Martin in the Field Episcopal Church, 1501 Edwardsville Dr., Edwardsville, KS 66111 where there will be a reception afterwards.
Justin was born Novenber 28th 1975 in Decatur, Illinois to Kenneth R. and Shirley Short (Doty). He was employed by Brill-CSM Bakery Solutions in Bonner Springs, Ks.
Justin married his beloved wife Christina on October 24th 2009 in Kenney, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife and children. John (Kari) and Rebecca (Logan) of Linwood, Blaine of Indiana, Dennis of Illinois, and Tara (Brandon) of Lawrence Ks. He is also survived by his two grandsons Hunter and "Shadow" Cooper. His mother Shirley Short, sister Denise Mayes (Chad) and his nieces Isabella and Brooklyn and nephew Landon, all of Bloomington Illinois. Justin was preceded in death by his Father Kenneth R. Short.
He was a fan of NASCAR, the Tennessee Titans and Metallica. He enjoyed reading, playing video games and movies. He loved his family with all of his heart and soul. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by his family, friends and co-workers. Justin had a wonderful sense of humor, a strong sense of pride in his work and an unstoppable love for his family.
