John Nick “Jerry”, 78, or Shawnee, KS formally of Edwardsville, KS passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Kansas City Missouri Veterans Administration Medical Center. Private family services to follow at a later date. Jerry was born April 24, 1944 in Kansas City, KS. He was a member of Roy Knapp’s Ruff Riders. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Betty DeMaranville Nick, his parents John and Anna Nick and his grandparents Gus and Anna Runnels. His survivors include one stepson Harold “Dal” Seldomridge and his wife Margaret of Kansas City, KS, two grandchildren Clinton Seldomridge and Lindsay Barnett, and one sister Susan White and her husband Bill of KC, KS. Four great grandchildren Kainen Seldomridge, Dalan Barnett, Adam Hursh and Isaiah Creach and three great great grandchildren.
