John J. King, Sr.
John Joseph King, Sr., age 65, of Belton, Mo., and previously of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on August 24, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of Johns life is pending at this time.
John Joseph King, Sr. was born on December 12, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas and was one of 10 children born to William & Helen (Blackwell) King. John grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Wyandotte High School. He was a Drywall Subcontractor and all-around handyman. John loved Football and especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a passion for Eagles and was somewhat of a Classic Movie Buff. In his later years, John enjoyed fishing and traveling with his family, seeing the beautiful scenery in the western states.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five of his siblings; Donna Mae, William, Patty, Martin, frank and his longtime companion, his beloved dog “Rocky”.
Survivors include his children: Kenneth Richard Strough, William Strough and his wife Linda, Shawna Giddens, John Joseph King, Jr., Vince King and his wife Andi, 13 grandchildren and four siblings; Mary, JoAnn, Roxann and Judy.
