Jeremy Scott Duskie, age 48, passed away, on Friday, January 26, 2024, after a complicated and courageous fight against gastric cancer. He was born on October 29, 1975, in Beloit, Kansas to Jerry Duskie and Joyce (DePoy) Duskie. Jeremy grew up in Cawker City, Kansas, and graduated from Waconda East High School in 1994. Jeremy met the love of his life, Wendy Rochelle Johnson, in Goodland, Kansas in 1999. They moved to Kansas City in 2000 and married on November 23, 2002. Jeremy made his career in Information Technology. He was so proud of his family and had many great friends. He was always a jokester with a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all. Jeremy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Wendy, his daughter, Hannah Catherine and son, Jaxson Scott of the family home. Also survived by his mother, Joyce Duskie, siblings, Elizabeth Hobson, Sherry (Brad) Pierce, Steve (Laura) Duskie, Kevin (Heather) Duskie, Kelly (Jim) Schaeffer and Eric (Jennifer) Duskie, and many nieces and nephews. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jerome “Jerry” Duskie and his mother-in-law, Verda Kay Johnson.

Services to be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 15438 Leavenworth Road, Basehor, KS.
