Janice K. “J.K.” Lindberg, age 55, of Piper, KS. “went to God’s house” on Thursday, May 17, 2018. To celebrate her life, her family will receive friends at a memorial gathering from 5-8pm Wednesday, May 23, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Memorials contributions can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or Habitat for Humanity and mailed to the funeral home.

Janice was born on December 10th, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up in the Kansas City, Kansas area and graduated from Bonner Springs High School in the Class of 1981. Janice worked for Anchor Savings and Johnson Controls before finding her true passion in Real Estate. She worked as a Realtor & Broker in the Wyandotte and Leavenworth County area and is a past President of the Heartland MLS. Presently she worked at the Realty Executives office in Lansing and previously she had worked with Coldwell Banker and Re/Max All American. Janice built many relationships in the community through her real estate expertise, but also valued quality time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her birth father, Robert Burris, her father Bob Rehm and her mother Rosemary.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Arthur “Butch” Lindberg, Jr. of the home, two children Lindsay Masur (Brandon) of Tonganoxie, KS. and Cody Lindberg of the home, three grandchildren, who affectionately called her “G”, Jackson, Atleigh and Harper, one sister Toni Saunders (Gary) of Bonner Springs, three brothers Gene Brown of Hammond, KS., Jeff Brown and partner Donald VandeWerken, of Poplarville, MS., and James Burris of Fort Scott, KS., as well as several extended family members and many friends.
