James William Bray, 92, of Linwood, KS passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 and Funeral will be at 1 pm, both on Saturday, June 12, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery near Basehor, KS. James was born on Jan. 18, 1929 in Kansas City, KS and had worked for many years as a Carpenter and Gentleman Farmer, always caring for his family and enjoying spending time with all of them. James was preceded in death by his Wife of 59 years Dollie Bray in 2006 a daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Paul Jones; a son Ronald Bray and a grandson Jeremy Bray. And he is survived by a son Donald J. Bray and his wife Janis and a daughter-in-law Kristi Bray. Nine grandchildren Renee Jones, Paula and Travis Smith, Paul Jones and Marie Call, Tracey and David Kidwell and Danielle and Brandon Goff. 15 Great Grandchildren Jessica and Jerry, Courtney and Brenden, Brandon, Kimberly, Caydince, Violet, Olivia, Douglas, Abigail, David, Gabrielle, Jameson and Symphony. And seven great great grandchildren Gavin, Jerry, Mia, Andrew, Mason, Emilia and Braylen.
