Obituary for Jacob Lee Boyer

Jacob L. Boyer,
Jacob Lee Boyer “The Hulk,” 29, of Basehor, KS passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm, Sunday, March 17th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Celebration of Life Services will be from 2 to 5 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Basehor V.F.W. Hall 2806 N. 155th Basehor, KS 66007 with burial of ashes to follow at 2:30 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Leavenworth Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Jacob’s son Romans Education Fund in care of Jacob‘s father, Henry Boyer. Jacob was born September 25, 1994 in Olathe Kansas. He graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School in the class of 2013 and then served in the United States Army. Over the years, Jacob worked as an over the road truck driver, a roofer and more recently as a fuel truck operator for Ben Hur Construction Company with the Local Operators Union No.101. Jacob loved the Kansas City Chiefs and watching the games and movies with his family. He was an avid superhero fan and especially loved the Hulk. Jacob survivors include his son Roman Ray Ares Boyer of the home; his parents Henry and Lisa Boyer of Basehor, KS; his maternal grandparents Gail and Sonia Darling of Overland Park, KS; his sister Hannah Atchison and her husband Colby of Bonner Springs, KS. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him greatly.
