Obituary for Ida Mae Eidson
Ida Mae Eidson went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19th, 2022, surrounded by family.
Ida was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 4th, 1940 to Harry Earl Alexander and Helen Marie (Michaels) She attended Van Horn High School. Ida enjoyed race cars, watching the Mizzou Tigers & KC Chiefs and any event with family & friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Derrell Eidson, mother Helen, stepmother Cleota Mae, father Harry, sister Roberta “Bert” Morrissey, brother-in-law James Morrissey and grandson Andrew Eidson.
Ida is survived by her brother Russell Earl Alexander, her son Michael Eidson, daughter Zanelle Vaughan & her husband David, and son Derrell Scott Eidson, her grandson Christopher (Rachael) granddaughters Michelle & Adriana (Andrew) grandsons David Scott (George) & Jesse (Trinity) granddaughter Tiffany (Steven) grandson Darren (Samantha) and 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of friends.
