Henry L. Green, Jr., 86, of Linwood, KS passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at his home. Graveside Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, April 4, at Mount Sydney Cemetery in Linwood, KS. Henry was born August 5, 1937 in Osawatomie, KS and graduated from Linwood High School in 1955 shortly thereafter he was drafted into the US Army, where he served for two years at Fort Lewis in Washington in the Bridge Battalion. Henry work most of his career in road construction as a heavy equipment operator and later worked for R.C. Can Manufacturing and Sunoco in Kansas City, KS. Henry was proceeded in death by his wife Neola M. Green in 1986 and one son Roy Green in 1968. He is survived by two brothers, Charles Green of Gardner, KS, and John Green and his wife Janice of Warsaw, MO; and one sister, Donna Thompson of Lawrence, KS as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends.
