Obituary for Helen Lucille Tate

Helen Lucille Tate, age 92, of rural Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 at her home. As per her request, a Private Funeral Services was held with her immediate family and she was laid to rest next to her husband, Virden Tate, in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.

Helen Tate was born September 5th, 1925 in rural Bonner Springs and married Virden Tate on October 25, 1947. She was a member of the original Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bonner Springs, later in life she was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor. Helen was a homemaker, seamstress, loved playing Bingo, traveling to Vegas and her Cat Copper. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence & Margaret Theno, husband Virden Tate, sister Margaret Make, brother Lawrence Theno Jr. and her daughter Vickie Sue Tate Kotay. She is survived by her son Steven Tate (Jennifer), son in law Miles Kotay,
Five granddaughters: Katy Langford (Bill), Rachel Tate, Kerriann Gill (Jon), JK Hufford (Grant), and Lindsay Kotay. Ten great-grand kids: Haley, Jackson, Ethan, Bryce, Genevieve, Olivia, Mason & Henry
