Obituary for Hazel June Molder (Stewart)

Hazel June (Stewart) Molder passed away, Friday, April 17, 2020 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas following a brief illness. She was born June 11, 1933 to William Lazarus Stewart and Leona Marie (Cliborn) Stewart in Kansas City, Kansas and grew up in Armourdale. She married the love of her life, George "Darell" Molder, June 10, 1953 who passed August 27, 2013. She worked for and served as a Union Representative for International Paper Company, was a Bluebird Leader, and enjoyed Bluegrass Festivals and Country Music. She was an avid quilter, crafter, and cookie maker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Vincent Stewart, Herbert Stewart, and Earl Stewart and 2 sisters, Helen Hayes and Betty Parsons. She is survived by her sister Nancy Thurman and sister-in-law Lou Lawson, both of Kansas City, Kansas. God may not have blessed her with her own children but she had countless nieces and nephews, near and far that loved her almost as much as their own mother.

Private Graveside Service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens of Kansas City, Kansas.
