Obituary for Goldie Eveline Zimmerli
Goldie Eveline Zimmerli, age 92, of Belton, MO and previously of Rural Bonner Springs, KS. passed away on Oct. 12, 2020. Graveside Funeral Service will be 12:30p.m. Monday Oct. 19, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-Noon prior to the Service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Goldie was born on Dec. 3, 1927 in Linwood, Kansas to Barney & Ruth (Jones) Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Melvin D. Zimmerli in 2014, and by their daughter Peggy Jo Jones in 2016. Goldie is survived by three grandchildren Brandon, Kimberlee and Brandee, five great-grandchildren Tearynn, Ashkyia, Isaiah, Josiah, and Ariella. Sister Bobbi Blackburn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
