Geraldine Annette Morche, 88, of Shawnee, KS passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Westchester Village Nursing Home in Lenexa, KS. Her Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am and her Funeral will be 11 am, both on Thursday, October 7, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in Bonner Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to LL Dog Rescue, Shawnee Community Services or Crossroads Christian Church in care of the funeral home. Geraldine was born on Feb. 27, 1933 in Kansas City, KS where she married her high school sweetheart, Dallas Morche in April of 1948. She attended KC Business School and then started her longtime accounting business Morche Bookkeeping and Tax Service where she worked until she retired in January of 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mary Mann, her beloved husband Dallas in 1997 and her brothers Hank, Delbert and Harold Mann. Gerry is survived by her two children Janet and her husband Paul Bartels of Camdenton, MO and Dennis and his wife Debbie Morche of Shawnee, KS. Her four grandchildren Steve and his wife Amy Bartels, Tricia and her husband Josh Hutchison, Theresa and her husband Tony Fusaro and Tiffany and her husband Nathaniel Morche-LaRue. Eleven Great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.
