GEORGE E. WATSON
George Edward Watson, 83, of Edwardsville, KS passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Olathe Hospice House. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, August 2, at the Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, KS. Friends and family may call at the visitation from 9 to 10 am, on Monday Morning, August 2, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. George was born on May 4, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK. After High School in enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving in the Secret Command. After the Air Force he then attended the University of Iowa graduating in 1965. He was a top salesman for G.E. selling Radiology Equipment. And later in life prior to retirement he had his own Medical Equipment Sales business for over ten years. He really enjoyed traveling with his family and fine dining and he would do almost anything for a bowl of ice cream. He always loved fishing, golfing and smoking good cigars. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Nancy Johnson Watson of the home. A grandson that he raised like a son Joshua Palcher and his wife Heidi. Three step-children Lateecia Mapes, Yvonne Delich and Derek Estrada. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
