Obituary for Gayle P. Roberts
Gayle P. Roberts, age 79, of Bonner Springs, KS., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28th, 2019. A Celebration of Gayle’s Life will be 1pm Sunday, Dec. 1st, at the Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Dr. Lenexa, KS. Memorial Contributions can be made to Joy Meadows or the Westside Family Church.
Gayle Paul Roberts was born on November 29, 1939 at his family’s home near Damar, Kansas and was one of 14 children born to Eugene & Jeanette (Berland) Roberts. Gayle was married to Linda K. Roberts. He was an accomplished farmer, co-owner of Tebo Implement and was a superb School Bus Driver. Gayle’s many accomplishments included being an outstanding friend, caring father and grandfather, deeply caring husband and his quite impressive tractor collection. He will always be remembered for his friendly, peaceful & joyful heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings; Marvin Roberts, Donnie Roberts, Dwight Roberts, Myrna Martell and Donna Roberts.
Survivors include his wife Linda Roberts of the home, two sons Scott Roberts and Ryan Roberts and his wife Danielle. Daughters; Kerri Hutton and husband Troy, Nikole Kelly and husband Kameron, Kristine Lowry and husband Shawn. Siblings; Betty Hamel, Jeanine Noah and husband Kent, Cynthia Kadavy and husband Dave, Judy Bomgardner and husband Steve, Teri Haulman and husband Ron, Cletus Roberts and wife Wanda, Rick Roberts and wife Julie, and Randy Roberts and wife Cindy. Grandchildren; Rylee Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Colton Roberts, Ava Dawn Roberts, Rocco Roberts, Kirstin Lowry, Garrett Lowry, Kody Lowry, Georgia Hutton, Harper Kelly, Jack Kelly, Oliver Kelly, Daleigh Kelly. Great-Grandchildren; Emma Claire Lowry-Kramer. As well as several extended family members and many friends.
