Gary L. Hull
Gary Lee Hull, age 80, of Edwardsville, Kansas passed away on Friday, March 10th, 2023. Visitation will be 10-11am followed by the Funeral Service at 11am, both on Saturday, March 18th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, burial in the Edwardsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
Gary was born on February 3rd, 1943 in Ottawa, Kansas and was the oldest of three children born to James & Dorothy (Moore) Hull. He grew up near Princeton, Kansas and graduated from Princeton High School in the Class of 1961. Gary married Patricia Ann (Kruse) Hull in 1964. He served in the National Guard and then enlisted in the US Army, proudly serving 5 years attaining the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon returning from the service he worked for Safeway Groceries and then began working for Associated Wholesale Grocers as a Field Superintendent. Gary then was hired by Zarda Texaco and ran several of their Convenience Stores. While working for Zarda/Texaco he furthered his education and became a Regional Lubricant Specialist for Texaco. In his retirement, Gary loved to Camp and Fish with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings Don Hull and Diana Moore, and by his wife Patricia Ann Hull.
Survivors include his two sons: Todd Hull and wife Angela of Jefferson City, MO., Matthew Hull of Bonner Springs, KS., nine grandchildren: Kaden, Connor, Nikolaus, Zackary, Joshua, Troy (Ashley), Meranda (Michael), Maddalynn and Hayden. One great-granddaughter Aria and his sister-in-law Betty Hull of Kansas City, KS.
