Eula Louise Pearce, 94, of Tonganoxie, KS formally of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm, on Sunday, May 15, and a Funeral Service will follow at 5 pm, Sunday both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. A Graveside Funeral Service will be at 1 PM, on Monday, May 16, at the Mount Union Cemetery in Iberia, MO. The family suggests memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses or to the Wounded Warriors or the veteran’s charity of your choice. Eula was born on April 18, 1928 in Brumley, MO where she was raised, later moving to the Kansas City area in the 1950s after she was married to Spurgeon Pearce and started her family. She loved raising her family and enjoyed gardening, both vegetables and flowers. And especially loved caring for all of her four-legged friends. Eula was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Spurgeon Pearce in 1994, one daughter Darlene Wall and one son Terry Pearce both in 2013. She is survived by four children Otis Pearce and his wife Jeannie of Ozark, MO; Linda Gardner and her husband John of Bonner Springs, KS; Lloyd Pearce of Tonganoxie, KS and Joan Lewis and her husband John of Tonganoxie, KS. Nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.
