Ernest Lloyd Moore, 94 of Edwardsville, KS passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020. The family will have a Private Viewing at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Private Family Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 16, in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Norwood, MO. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Lloyd was born Jan. 3, 1926 in Norwood, MO and has lived in the Edwardsville area since 1968. He was very active in his church his entire life, becoming an ordained deacon in 1954 and serving the church in that capacity until his death. Lloyd was a member of the Prairie Meadows Free Will Baptist Church in Bonner Springs, KS. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Moore, son Larry Moore and son Duane Moore and brother, Lowell Moore, sister, Eva Babcock, step-brother Clyde Hill, step-brother Leo Hill and brother-in-law Frank Fletcher. Lloyd is survived by daughter Janet Warden and her husband Tony of Bonner Springs, KS, daughter-in-law Donna Moore of Edwardsville, KS, daughter-in-law Rose Moore of Independence, MO, brother-in-law Bill Fletcher of Clovis, CA. 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
