Esther Arlene Anderson, age 76, of Kansas City, Kansas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021. Visitation will be 1-2pm, Funeral at 2:00pm both Tuesday Nov. 30th at the London Heights Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Stony Point Cemetery.
Arlene was born on October 23, 1945 in Fort Scott, Kansas and was the youngest of three children born to Mitchel M. & Vergie M. (Link) Elliott. She grew up in Nevada, Missouri and graduated from Nevada High School. She married A.W. “Bill” Anderson on Sept. 29, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri and together they made their home in Bonner Springs where they raised their three children. In 1990 they moved to Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Charles and Eldon Elliott and by one son Ronnie Anderson.
Survivors include her husband A.W. “Bill” Anderson of the home, son Alan Anderson of Fulton, MO., daughter Michelle Anderson (Clay) of Kansas City, KS.
Six grandchildren: Chad, Brittany, Bill, Josiah, Emerald and Ava. Two great-grandchildren: Dartanian and Ava, as well as extended family and friends.
