DWIGHT K. SMITH
Dwight Keith Smith, 70, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Overland Park regional Medical Center. Graveside committal services will be at 11 am, Saturday, April 2nd, at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Dwight was born on September 13, 1951 in Kansas City, KS and was a lifelong area resident graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1969 and later from K-State in 1973 with a Degree in Education. Dwight worked for many years is a typesetter and proofreader for Veterinary Medicine Publishing Company and more recently he worked for Queens Price Chopper in Bonner Springs, KS. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mae Smith and his survived by his wife of 23 years Sharon L. Smith of the home, two sisters Nancy Thomas of Silver Lake, KS and Elaine Brauer of Linwood, KS as well as nieces, nephews, other family and all of the friends and acquaintances he has known while working at the Price chopper in Bonner Springs which will all miss him greatly.
The Family suggests memorial contributions to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
