DORIS M. MINDEDAHL
Doris Maxine Mindedahl, 95, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Sat., Feb. 8, 2020 at her home after a short illness. Born in Kansas City, KS on July 20, 1924, she graduated from Washington High School in 1942 then moved to Bonner Springs with her husband, Elmer, who preceded her in death. Her youngest son, Ron, also preceded her in death in 2016. She leaves three children, Sharon Hicks, Dennis Mindedahl, and John Mindedahl, as well as nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Doris was employed at the Nat Nast Bowling Shirt company and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, from which she retired in 1985 with over 22 years of service. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private family service held later in the spring where she will be buried next to Elmer at the Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Kansas City. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kansas Hospice Care for their kind and caring service to our family.
