Obituary for Donna Lee Willis
Donna Lee (Kuhn) Willis, age 67, of Olathe, KS and previously of Kansas City, KS., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019. Visitation will be 6-7pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 7pm, both Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019 at the Metropolitan Southern Baptist Church (5502 Metro. Ave. KC,KS. 66106) Private interment will follow at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Metropolitan Southern Baptist Church.
Donna Lee (Kuhn) Willis was born on Oct. 30, 1951 in Kansas City, KS. and was the youngest of two daughters born to Bill & Marie (Norton) Kuhn. Donna grew up in Edwardsville, attended schools there and graduated from Bonner Springs High School in the Class of 1970. She married Johnny Willis on June 16, 1972 in Kansas City, KS., where they made their home and raised their three children. Donna was a gifted Artist and Gardner. She enjoyed attending the Metropolitan Southern Baptist Church and later in life, she enjoyed being a Para-Professional in the Turner School District. Above all she loved spending time with her family. Donna was preceded in death by her Parents, her son William John Willis in 2007, a granddaughter Gabriella Gray in 2011 and her husband Johnny Willis, three years prior to the day. Survivors include two daughters; Michelle Willis of the home, Kelly Gray (Mark) of Olathe, KS., one sister; Debbie Shaw (Kenny) of Edwardsville, KS., one granddaughter Annalise Gray, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
