It was a pleasure to have Grandpa McDowell and his family be a part of the Bethel College softball program for the past 4 years. The support, encouragement and constant supply of bubble gum and seeds will always be remembered. Prayers for peace during this time. In His Love, Dave & Stacy Middleton

Grandpa, you were such a kind person and supportive fan of your grandchildren. Thank you for always speaking with me after all of the Bobcat softball games. My heart aches that you are physically no longer here. You left a piece of your heart in mine. For that, I am blessed and grateful. Take care of everyone in heaven that has missed you.

Don,
Thank you for being such a pleasant and enjoyable man to work with. You represented the greatest generation well! Great work ethic. No one could arrive before you! I don’t drink coffee, but I can appreciate that you were always there to get it started in the morning.
I miss you already. I am sure God is blessing you in Heaven.

The service today was beautiful! The sons did a great, heartfelt job of representing their Dad. Randy, thank you for preaching the gospel and delivering the message of Heaven and He11. Your dad would be proud. The military honors were very special at the gravesite. God bless your family.
