Darla Jean (Whitson) Berry, age 58, of Basehor, Kansas passed away on August 12, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Her family is hosting a Celebration of her life at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Linwood Community Center (302 Main St. Linwood, KS. 66052)
Darla was born on July 1, 1963 in Lawrence, Kansas. She married Glenn Berry on June 8, 2019 in Lawrence, Kansas. Darla had last worked at CMC Cable as a payroll clerk & office manager. She enjoyed working in her gardens and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Darla was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Whitson, mother Darlene Guffey Whitson and step-son Michael Berry. Survivors include her husband Glenn Berry of the home, sons Larry Stewart and A.J. Bailey, brother Jimmie Jo Spencer, stepdaughters Lyndsey Berry, Jessica Berry, stepson Billy Berry, grandchildren Jaxson, Rain, Xander, Ryker, Skyelynn, Aceson, and soon to be grandson Logan.
