Obituary for Dakota Milo Hendrix

Dakota Milo Hendrix, 21, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away at his home on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home. The family will receive friends at the Visitation from 5 to 8 pm, on Friday, December 4, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS masks and social distancing are required and up to 45 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be at 1 pm, on Saturday, December 5, at the Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, KS masks and social distancing is requested. Dakota was born March 2, 1999 in Merriam, KS and was a life long area resident, graduation from Bonner Springs High School in 2017. He then completed the Kansas City Kansas Community College - Career and Technical Training - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Certificate Program before going to work as a plumber for Crosby Plumbing in Bonner Springs, KS. He was known as a big hearted, happy, sweet and kind person that was loved by many. He loved his dogs and liked to go snowboarding and hiking in Colorado. When he was younger he enjoyed skateboarding and now mostly enjoyed spending time with his friends and going on dates with his girlfriend Morgan. Dakota is survived by his parents Jason and Lisa Hendrix and one brother Dylan Hendrix all of the home. His maternal grandmother Sue Cullen of Edwardsville, KS; paternal grandfather George Lingenfelser of Bonner Springs, KS; paternal grandfather Allen Hendrix of Richmond, MO; paternal great grandmother Betty Lingenfelser of Tonganoxie, KS; paternal great grandmother Ruth Hendrix of Richmond, MO. His significant other Morgan Brich of Kansas City, KS as well as a host of other aunts, uncles other family and friends that will miss him greatly.
