Obituary for Cynthia Elizabeth "Cindy" Mullens (Puett)
Cynthia Elizabeth Mullens, age 60, of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 after a brief illness with Pneumonia. Visitation will be 10-11am, with the funeral following at 11am, both Friday July 5th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
Cindy was born on September 6, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas. The youngest of four children born to Howard & Betty Puett. Cindy grew up in Topeka until her family moved to the Table Rock Lake area, near Reed Springs and Kimberling City. She moved back to Topeka and had worked at Stormont Vail Hospital and more recently had worked at the VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS. She married Michael Mullens in 2009 and together they lived in Bonner Springs.
Cindy was preceded in death by her Parents.
Survivors include her husband Michael Mullens of the home, two sons Ryan Crowell of Bonner Springs and Randy Crowell of Topeka, KS., three step-children Jennifer Losensky (Frank) of Piper, KS., Casie Mullens of Bonner Springs and Mike Mullens, Jr. of the home. Three brothers; Jack Puett of Topeka, KS., Ron Puett of Dallas, TX., and Terry Puett (Patty) of Auburn, KS., two sisters Patty (Larry) Harris of Topeka, KS. Karen (Ralph) Mika of Grand Junction, CO., and four grandchildren; Lilly, Jackson, Levi and Bailey.
