Obituary for Cora Lee Crum

Cora Lee Crum, age 79, of Edwardsville, KS. passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Parkway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville. Visitation will be 1-2pm, followed by the Memorial Service at 2pm both on Friday, January 10th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. In lieu of the flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Parkway Care Center Activities Fund.
Cora “Corky” was born on October 21, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas to David Mitchell and Edith Yeager. Corky grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Wyandotte High School. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harold Thornburgh.
Survivors include her children; Kimberly Sanders (Bob), Rhonda Jackson, Bill Crum (Michelle), Mike Crum (Debbie), Brian Thackrah (Phil), One Sister; JoAnn Verbeek (Larry), Grandchildren; H Joe Baker (Elisa), Bill Crum (Nikki), Rachel Sanders/Green (Dave), Sarah Geltmacher (Matt), Emily Sanders/ Provo (Darin), Bryan McFarland, Trent Crum, Austin Crum, Clayton Crum. Great-Grandchildren; Isaac Crum, Kaden Crum, Dakota Green, Hailey Green, Nathaniel Provo, Lorelei Geltmacher and Astrid Geltmacher.
Corky had a fondness for the color blue. Accordingly, her children have requested they everyone dress casual and or wear something blue, in remembrance of their mother.
