Obituary for Clara Jane King

Clara Jane Hill King
On October 11, 2022 Clara Jane (Hill) King went to be with the Lord, her husband Gene, and many other family and friends. She struggled these past 10 years from dementia and in the end, it became too much. She had many ups and downs in her life, but her greatest “up” was her family.
She was born to Wilbon George Hill and Pansy Clara Ellsworth Hill. The fifth of 10 children, the second oldest girl. Clara was mother or mom to five children. Clara is survived by Stephen King of Raytown, MO; Vicki Harbarger of Mission, KS; Gary King (Christine) of Sherman, TX; Penny Mingus (Randy) of Paola, KS and Michael King of Mission, KS. Clara was a grandma and a great grandma to many that loved her greatly and a great great grandma to three. She is also survived by her sister Violet Turley (Harold) of Kansas City, KS; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her loving little dog Pandi. Clara was preceded in death by her parents Wilbon G. and Pansy Hill; her husband of 63 years Fredrich “Gene” King; her brothers Henry Hill, Elmer Lee (June) Hill, William “Bill” Hill, Robert G. (Iva Glee) Hill, Larry E. (Margie) Hill; Her sister ‘s Darlene (Bob) Cupp, Dolores (Danny) Lynch, Diana L. Hill Trompeter as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Clara will be missed by so many. The family suggests Memorial Contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
