Obituary for Cindy M. Burton
Cindy M. (Carriger) Burton, age 55, of Kansas City, Kansas and previously of Bonner Springs, KS. passed away on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 3-5pm, Saturday, August 10th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with a private interment at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Stroke Foundation.
Cindy was born on April 1st, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas and grew up in Bonner Springs, graduating from Bonner Springs High School in the class of 1982. She had been a longtime manager of the Sonic in Bonner Springs. Cindy loved camping and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Dwayne Carriger, Step-Father William “Bill” Sickman, and her loving companion Bob Sutton. Survivors include her two children; Candice Carriger and husband Brian Johnson of Bonner Springs, Bryan Burton and wife Cassandra of West Lafayette, IN., mother Ella Mae Sickman of Tonganoxie, KS., Siblings; Bill Sickman of Edwardsville, KS., Jeff Sickman (Teresa), Mary Sickman all of Tonganoxie, KS., Rhonda Carriger (Tom), and Tandy King (Chuck) all of Arizona, Four Grandchildren; Kylee, Brayden, Destiny and Ezra, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, extended family and friends.
