Cheryl Dea Alexander Sullivan, 73, of Basehor, KS passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. The family will receive friends at the visitation from 5 to 7 pm, Wed., June 26, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and the Funeral services will be at 10 am, Thur., June 27, at the Fellowship West Church at 303 S. Bluegrass Dr. in Bonner Springs, KS The family suggests memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Cheryl was born on Oct. 11, 1945 in Ashland, KS and grew up in Fowler, KS and was a proud "Gold Bug" to this day graduating from Fowler High School in 1963. She lived in the Southwest Kansas area for many years moving to follow her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren shopping until she would drop. She always loved family trips to the Branson area. She was preceded in death by her parents Will and Happ Alexander and two daughters Shelly and Tanda Jones. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Frank Sullivan of the Home. Two daughters Angie Jones and her husband Eric of Kansas City, KS and Tara Wilson of Basehor, KS. One sister Willa Verhelst and two nieces Sherri Katz and Sherise Verhelst all of Oklahoma City, OK. Five grandchildren Mason, Connor, Raylee, Mckenzie and Brady. And her dog Lexi.
