Obituary for Chase Benton Karges

Chase Benton Karges 16, of Overland Park KS, passed away on February 13, 2019. He will be forever young in our hearts. Chase embraced the world with open arms. He loved to make everyone smile while caring deeply for his friends and family. He was an avid sports fan, he loved the Chiefs, Royals, Chicago Bears and K-State. Chase also had a love for rap music, Fortnite, and McDonalds (aka Chons). Chase's friends and family were the light of his life and helped him through the good times and the bad. Silent and Listen have the same letters. We pray Chase's legacy illuminates the real struggles of depression and anxiety. Chase is survived by his parents Craig & Allison Karges, brother Clint Karges, and sister Chloe Karges. He is also survived by uncles and aunts, Andrea Karges, Scott & Jamie Karges, Christian & Kerry Wiser, David & Tina Wiser and many special cousins. Chase was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence "Bud" & Mae Karges and Denny & Jan Wiser.

A celebration of his life will be 1:00 pm Monday, February 18th, 2019 at the Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, KS. (Main Sanctuary A). Please join us at our home after the Church Service to continue to Celebrate Chase's life.
