Charles Leroy DeMaranville, 87, of Burlington, KS passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Life Care Center in Burlington, KS. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM, Funeral services will follow at 11 AM, both on December 4th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in Mount Sydney Cemetery near Linwood, KS. Charles was born July 6, 1936 in Linwood, KS. He went to school in Linwood and then worked for years as a welder at Southwest Ornamental Iron in Bonner Springs. Charles enjoyed coaching Little League football, coon hunting and raising cattle. He was proceeded in death by his wife Sharon DeMaranville in 2018 and is survived by three sons Christopher DeMaranville (Jolene) of Melvern, KS; Charles DeMaranville, Jr. of Platte City, MO and Steve DeMaranville (Karen) of Lawrence, KS. Three daughters Denise DeMaranville (Patty) of Bonner Springs, KS; Mary Spotz (Rick) of Rantoul, KS and Jerri DeMaranville of Linwood, KS. Four sisters Maxine, Nadine, Betty and Caroline and one brother Bob. 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
