Obituary for Capitola Jean Samuels (Foster)

Capitola Jean Samuels, 74, of Tonganoxie, KS died on Tue., April 2, 2019 at the Legends Healthcare Nursing Home in Tonganoxie, KS. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Sat., April 13, at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Capitola was born on May 24, 1944 in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. She had worked through the years at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant and at Swingster Clothing Manufacturing and later at a Furniture Assembly Plant in Kansas City, KS. Over the years she enjoyed Modeling and Weight Lifting especially at Golds Gym in Shawnee, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Thankful Foster and six brothers James, George, Frank, Karl, Walter and Robert "Butch" Foster and three sisters Blanche Foster, Frances Newman and one infant sister. She is survived by one daughter Ursula Samuels and two sisters Edith Foster and Pamela Foster as well as many other family and friends that will miss her greatly. The family would like to acknowledge the Kindred Hospice for their loving care and support.
