Obituary for Bonnie Joyce Ann Davis (Gossage)

Bonnie Joyce Ann Davis, age 75, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on June 10, 2019. Visitation will be 6-7pm, followed by the Memorial Service at 7pm, both Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Bonnie Joyce Ann Gossage Davis was born on November 23, 1943 to Everette & Venea Jones Gossage. She lived in Arkansas until she married Ambrose “Bud” Evans in 1959. Together they moved to DeSoto, Kansas where they worked on a farm with his Foster Parents for several years. Bonnie had worked at the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in the 1960’s and the Russell Stover Candy Plant in the early 1970’s. After Bonnie and Bud divorced, she worked her way through Medical School while raising her three sons, and became a Medical Technician and later went back to school to be an Pathologist. Bonnie married Bill Davis in 1982 and they settled in Kansas City, Kansas. She retired from Research Medical Center in 2012 after many years of service. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; Everett & Venea Gossage, one brother Gerald Gossage, her husband Bill Davis, one son Timothy Evans, and one great-grandchild. She leaves behind two sons; Keith Evans and his wife Cheryl, Brian Evans and his wife Amy, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother Mack Gossage and his wife Joann, two sisters; Renee Lance and her husband Stan, Debbie Sawyers and her husband Ray, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, all of whom loved her deeply.
