Bobby E. Bartles, 79, of Edwardsville, KS passed away on January 2, 2023 at Advent Shawnee Mission Hospital. A private Memorial will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kansas City Pet Project in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Bobby was born September 7, 1943 in La Cygne, KS. Bob worked as a Customer Sales Manager at International Paper for 43 years at several different plants including Kansas City, KS as well as Russellville, AR, Shreveport, LA and Houston TX. After retirement he moved back to Kansas City area with Carol. He loved hunting, RVing, talking to people, card games and family, including friends whom he considered family and his dogs - Min and Lucy, who were waiting for him in heaven. He will be greatly missed and his family looks forward to seeing him in the afterlife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Beulah Bartles, and his sister Glenna Matthews, and is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol Bartles, two daughters Pam Frazey and her husband Jay of Edwardsville, KS and Dee Humphrey and her husband Michael of Saint Augustine, FL. Seven grandchildren Candy Bowman, Aaron Humphrey, Adam Humphrey, Alyssa, McCord, Robby Frazey, Cari Frazey, and Alysson Tate, also surviving are 19 great grandchildren and niece Jackie Silvers of Kansas City, MO.
