Obituary for Betty Crist Millsap
Betty Crist Millsap, 93, of Prairie Village, KS., passed away on Sat. Jan. 4, 2020. Visitation will be 10-11am, followed by the Funeral at 11am, both Thurs. Jan. 9th at the Edwardsville United Methodist Church (302 North 4th Street) with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Betty had requested Memorial Contributions to the Church.
Betty was born on January 18, 1926 in Edwardsville, Kansas to John & Beulah (Brown) Crist. She graduated from Edwardsville High School. She married Marvin “Skeeter” Millsap on November 4, 1944 and together they made their home in Edwardsville. Betty was a lifelong member of the Edwardsville United Methodist Church and was the Owner/Operator of Jayhawk Printing in Kansas City, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband and by her daughter Marcia Snyder and her two sisters; Mildred Roudybush and Jenny Zaring.. Survivors include her son Rex Millsap and wife Carmen Cantrell of Prairie Village, KS. son-in-law, Bruce Snyder of La Cygne, KS., two grandchildren; Aaron Millsap of Mountain Home, AR., Chelsea Engle and husband Chris of Gardner, KS., as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
