Obituary for Barry E. "Bear" Landauer
Barry E. "Bear" Landauer, age 60, of Merriam, Kansas passed away on Tues. Feb. 12th, 2019. Visitation will be Noon to 1pm, with the Funeral to begin at 1pm, both Wed. Feb. 20th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
Barry was born on Aug. 1, 1958 in Wakeeney, KS., and attended Basehor-Linwood High School graduating in 1976. He married Annette Wiley in 1985. Barry had worked various jobs but the latest he had worked 19 years at Brill. He was a Master of Maintenance, doing HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. He had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles and the outdoors. He was most known for his humor and obscure jokes. Barry was preceded in death by his mother Wilma James and his brother John Kevin (Bo) Landauer. Survivors include his wife Annette Landauer, his son Ryan Landauer, daughter Rachel Landauer, his father John Landauer, and granddaughter Scarlette Johnson.
