Barbara Lucille Bryan. 88, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Friends may call at the Visitation from 10 to 11 am, Sat., Oct. 12 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and the Graveside service will be at 11 am, Sat., Oct. 12 at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home. Barbara was born on Aug. 16, 1931 in Bonner Springs and was a life long area resident. She grew up in and graduated from the Bonner Springs High School in 1948. She worked for a few years at the Dari-Dine in Bonner before starting her career as a Secretary at J.C. Penney Company in Overland Park, KS. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved the KC Chiefs and the KC Royals. But she was most proud of her children and grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Elizabeth Dunn and one brother Carl Dunn and a sister Peggy Pine. And is survived by one daughter Cheryl E. Honeywell and her husband Harold of Fairway, KS and one son Steven M. Gallagher of Buford, NC. Two brothers Ivan and Robert Dunn both of Seneca, KS. One granddaughter Brandi Gallagher and four great grandchildren Ryleigh, Warren, Alaisa and Colten.
