Obituary for Arlis A. Parker

Arlis A. Parker, age 91, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 at Lakeview Village in Lenexa, KS., Visitation will be 2-3pm, with the Memorial Service at 3pm, both Monday, May 20th, at Lakeview Village Heritage Activity Center, 9100 Park St. of Lenexa. Burial will follow at a later date in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Arlis was born on June 10th, 1927 in Independence, Kansas the daughter of Clarence & Zelda (Reppert) Smith. She married Kenneth V. Parker on June 10th, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas and together they Owned and Operated Parker Service Stations in Kansas City, KS for over 50 years. Arlis and Kenneth were former members of the Horseless Carriage Club of Kansas City. More recently, Arlis was a member of the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her brother Larry Smith, and in 1995 her husband Kenneth. Survivors include her three children: Ron Parker and wife Nancy of Overland Park, KS., Judy Shelton and husband Steve and Deanna Clouse all of Bonner Springs. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
