Angel Solano was born in Los Angeles, California at Santa Martha Hospital on November 5th, 1990. He lived in Huntington Park, California for 11 years with his parents, Tomas and Maria Solano, and his younger brother Tomas Solano Jr. He attended Miles Avenue Elementary and graduated from there with honors from President Bush himself. Afterwards, he attended Gage Middle School school afterwards for one semester before moving to Kansas with his family in December 2001. He then started attending school in Bonner Springs, starting with Clark Middle School and working his way through High School, also having taken up Football through the entirety of his middle and high school education. He graduated high school at the age of 17 in 2009, to which he then proceeded to enlist in the Marine Corp and served our country for 6 years. After he retired, he decided to continue his studies and also work for Garmin for a period of time until a new opportunity came to him with ELTA North America. He spent some time working from D.C. to which he was transferred to Texas where he continued his employment with ELTA up until August 25th, 2021 when he had his accident, and the good Lord called him back home
Words from his fiancée , Tanja Renate - Angel was hard working and goal oriented with great results, but most importantly he was kind, compassionate and curious. He loved spending hours gazing at the stars at night, fully taking in the nature around him and to be present. His thirst for life, adventure and improvement comes second to no other and it has been an honor to get to know him, to be his, and he mine. He will forever live on in the people he touched with his presence around the world and we stand so much taller and richer on life because of him. He dared to dream big, as should we all.
Words from his brothers in The Marines - Angel lived by a set of core values that are instilled into every Marine. Overtime, most Marines lose focus on these values. This is a common and understandable mistake. Yet, Angel is uncommon amongst uncommon men. Angel never lost momentum, he never lost focus and always strived to live a life that not only benefited him, but those around him. Angel will always be a force of motivation that will continue to instill discipline into others even beyond his life.
