Obituary for Amy Lynn Howell

Amy Lynn Howell, 34, of Tonganoxie, KS passed away on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at the Kansas City Hospice House, in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, March 25, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs and the Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, March 26, at the Fellowship West Church also in Bonner Springs, KS with private committal of ashes in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Overland Park, KS.
The family suggests Memorial Contributions to fund scholarships at either the Edwardsville Elementary School or the Indian Hills Elementary School in care of the funeral home.
Amy was born on June 30, 1987 in Merriam, KS and grew up in Bonner Springs, later living in Louisburg and Olathe before settling down in Tonganoxie, KS. She was a 2005 Louisburg High School graduate later receiving her B.S. in Education in 2010 and her Master's degree in Education in 2015 both from K.U. For more than ten years she was a Elementary School Teacher teaching at Indian Hills Elementary School in Topeka, KS and more recently at Edwardsville Elementary in Edwardsville, KS. She loved to travel with her family and friends and enjoyed volunteering with Relay for Life and Sunflower House.
Amy is survived by her husband of 15 years Chad Howell of the home. Her mother Tracey Colgan of Leavenworth, KS. Her father David Caudill and his wife Nikki of Aurora, NE. Maternal Grandparents Frank and Sandra Blancarte of Louisburg, KS and her maternal great grandmother Mary Blancarte of Overland Park, KS. Paternal grandparents Harold and Delores Caudill of Dakota City, NE. Three brothers Joseph Caudill of Louisburg, KS; Christopher Caudill of Osawatomie, KS and Jordan Caudill of Louisburg, KS as well as four nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other family and friends that will miss her greatly.
