Alice Eileen (Colgan) Neal, age 73, of Edwardsville, KS., passed away on Friday June 26, 2020. Funeral Mass Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS. with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Alice was born on Sept. 13, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bernard and Eileen Colgan. She had lived her entire life in the Edwardsville area and was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish and later the St. Patrick’s Parish. Alice had worked as a stay at home mother, an In-Home Daycare Provider, later she took a job as a Check Processor at the IRS. She loved reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clarence Neal in 2010.
Survivors include her two daughters; Patricia Welicky and husband Greg, Deb Martin and husband John, one son; Robert Neal and wife Danielle, eight grandchildren, and her sister-in-law’s Martha Colgan & Ruth Neal, brother-in-law, Bud Neal.
