Rhonda G. Holmes, age 52, of Bonner Springs, KS. passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Visitation will be 10-11am Friday, March 16 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home followed by the graveside committal service at 11:30am at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Rhonda was born on August 18, 1965 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a longtime resident and raised her sons in the Bonner Springs area. Rhonda was known for having a heart of gold and her personal goal was to make everyone else’s day better and would anything to make them smile. She was a loving wife, mother and friend that was very loyal and a hard worker.
Rhonda was preceded in death by one son Mark Anthony “Tony” Holmes in 2008 and by one sister Cheryl Ann Tolson in 2010. Survivors include her two sons; Andy “AJ” Holmes, of Kansas City, MO., and Cody Lowe of Kansas City, KS., her longtime companion Brian Scholl of Leavenworth, KS., her father Ronald Tolson (Claire), her mother Teresa Hoyos of Leavenworth, KS., sister Kathy Sanberg (Chad) of Leavenworth, KS and three grandchildren; Kinsley, Riley and Alexander Angell.
