Obituary for Julia Catherine "Judy" Woolf

Julia Catherine Woolf "Judy", 87 of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wed., Nov. 1, 2017 at her home in Bonner Springs. The family has scheduled a committal service to be held at 4 pm, on Fri., Nov. 10, at the Highland Park Cemetery, 4101 State Ave., Kansas City, KS.
Judy was born on Dec. 21, 1929 in Weston, MO and graduated from Wyandotte High School where she met her husband, Les Woolf. Les was career military and Judy worked as an accountant in the service wherever they were stationed. Being a military wife and an accountant she was a very organized person and was always the "Go to" for anything.
She was a great seamstress and had several part time jobs using that skill. As well as making things for family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed all the monthly luncheons and the holiday gatherings.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Les in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Woolf in 2013. She is survived by her children: Martha Woolf of Tonganoxie, KS and James Woolf (Cynthia) of Bonner Springs, KS and Amber Caldwell of Christiana, TN. Also four grandchildren: Kris Woolf (Amy) of Tonganoxie, KS; Julie Wagner (Trevor) of Omaha, NE; Kendall Payne(Jennifer) of Lenexa, KS; Jessica Losier (Jon) of Basehor, KS. She also had seven great grandchildren: Meredith, Nate, Olivia (of Omaha); Natalie and Tori (of Lenexa); Trinity and Andrew (of Basehor). She loved her family and was very proud of their accomplishments.
