John W. "Bud" Morris, age 87, of Basehor, KS., formerly of Naples, FL., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 4th, 2017 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Private memorial services will follow at a later date.

Bud was born April 2, 1930 in Marceline, MO. to Charles N. (Shorty) and Maud Judd Morris. He grew up in the Argentine area of Kansas City, KS., and graduated from Argentine High School in 1948. Bud served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Captain of Eastern Airlines. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, and his wife Jeannie. Survivors include; one brother Darwin (Charlene) Morris, one sister LaLonde Easter and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
