Jane Ruth Clarke Tetzloff, 72, of Edwardsville, KS passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation 6 to 8 pm, Thur., June 8, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and Funeral 10 am, Fri., June 9, at the Edwardsville Christian Church. Burial Edwardsville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Edwardsville Christian Church. Jane was born Jan. 21, 1945 in Oak Park, Ill and moved to the Kansas City area to raise her family. Later moving to Colorado for two years and then returning to the Edwardsville, KS area in 1992. She was one of the most caring people ever and loved to spend time praying for everyone she knew and reading. She was a member of the Edwardsville Christian Church and had volunteered at Providence Medical Center for several years. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren who all will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sue Norman in 2016. And is survived by her husband of 51 years John Tetzloff of the home. Two daughters Karen Barlow (Tom) of Golden, CO and Patricia Gillespie (Larry) of Oakland, CA. One sister Barbara Almgreen of Rolling Meadows, Ill. Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
